Investors have long been familiar with empirical studies, such as those by Eugene Fama and Kenneth French, which show value performing over time. However, this was not the case in the 2010s as value lagged behind growth significantly. Avantis Investors, a part of American Century, believe that answers to questions about the efficacy of value can be found by drawing on the last 30 years of academic research. Join Richard Adams, Senior Investment Director, to look at more complete definitions of value that incorporate the latest financial research. Richard will share a more modern approach to systemic investing that offers the benefits of indexing alongside active approaches that can improve portfolio outcomes.
